If you've been thinking about adding a dog to the family, Basset Hound Rescue League should be your first call. We rescue and adopt out Basset Hounds, Beagles, Dachshunds, and Corgis in order to keep them out of local shelters.

Adoption Requirements

Basset Hound Rescue League,the health and well being of the dogs we rescue are our main priorities. And that includes their health and well being long after they're out of our care. That's why we have certain requirements that must be met for potential adopters.

While our Basset Hound requirements are strictly enforced, certain exceptions can be made for all of the other breeds we adopt out. For more information, click the link below.

Please help rescue a dog today!

Basset Hound Rescue League has helped hundreds of neglected, abused, and abandoned dogs. However, due to the current economic situation, owners are surrendering their dogs in record numbers. We are overwhelmed and in urgent need of money to pay the veterinary and kennel bills for these dogs while they recuperate and find forever homes.

Every donation you make will be used entirely to help keep homeless dogs out of community shelters and other bad situations, and to help nourish and protect neglected and injured pets.
